BioI am a Russian-American poet and translator, based mostly in Brooklyn but currently teaching in Florence. A good website of my audio recordings is my Fishouse page; it also has a link to a video. Most of my books / chapbooks are available through Ugly Duckling Presse. I am the editor and main translator of _OBERIU: An Anthology of Russian Absurdism_, which contains the work of Vvedensky, Kharms, Zabolotsky, Druskin, Lipavsky and Oleinikov. I've also done contemporary Russian poets like Alexei Parshchikov and Dmitry Golynko.
